Забавные вещи буржуи курят. Зачла б даже)
After Solas's identity was revealed, Lavellan was put in the spotlight for possibly abetting the elven rebellion, something that's not helped by Divine Vivienne's insistence on being neutral. To avoid further persecution, Leliana and Josephine suggested Lavellan to finally accept one of the many marriage proposals she had been getting, before she loses any semblance of power and protection altogether. Lavellan grudgingly accepted, and married a powerful man to secure her political position while continuing to try stop Solas's rebellion.
The problem is, the man Lavellan married is apparently a hardcore conservative Andrastian, and slowly began to force her to convert in subtle, and increasingly not so subtle ways. Her friends in the underground Inquisition knew something is wrong, as shown by Lavellan's gradually deteriorating mental and physical condition, but are helpless to interfere with her marriage. That is, until Solas's spies in the underground Inquisition reported how badly Lavellan is being treated by her new husband.
Cue angry Fen'Harel swooping in to save Lavellan and taking care of her. Anons, I just want all of the angst and h/c.
+ Lavellan's husband sees her as partly savage for her Dalish origins, and part of his abuse has racial undercurrents.
++ Lavellan starting to doubt her cultural identity due to her husband's conditioning, and previously Solas's own disdain towards her people during their relationship.
+++ Afterwards, lots of Solas comforting Lavellan and feeling guilty that he unwittingly caused this to happen to her.
